Paul Offit Making Others Aware About Infectious Diseases
Paul Offit has had a passion for infectious diseases and as a young medical student he decided to make it his life's work. In his 30 year career Paul Offit has achieve many different things that he is real proud of. Paul Offit has also written over 130 papers for medical and science journals to help educate people better about infectious diseases and vaccaine safety. He is also the co-inventor of the rotavirus vaccine RotaTeq. It has been recommended by the CDC for universal use in infants. Paul Offit won the Gold Medal and the Jonas Salk Medal for this accomplishment.
Besides all the various accomplishments Paul Offit also has written four books. They include Vaccines: What You Should Know, Breaking the Antibiotic Habit, and his newest one called Vaccinated: One Man’s Quest to Defeat the World’s Deadliest Diseases. As you can see Paul Offit has a great passion in helping people and that has shown over the last 30 years.
